Axe Throwing Safety Rules​

Age Requirement: Participants must be 18 years or older.

Minor Supervision: All participants under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Waiver: Every participant must sign a waiver before participating.

Footwear: Everyone must wear closed-toe shoes.

Clothing: Avoid loose clothing that could interfere with throwing.

Lane Entry: Only enter the lanes when invited by a coach.

Safety Briefing: No throwing until the coach gives a safety speech and demonstrates proper technique.

Throwing and Retrieving: Throw together, retrieve together. Collect axes only after both players have thrown and the axes have stopped moving.

Axe Handling: Always hold the axe by the handle. Never touch the blade with bare skin.

Targeting: Only aim at wooden targets. Never point the axe at people, animals, or anything else.

Behavior: No gesturing or playing around with the axe. Ensure no one is between the thrower and the target.

Intoxication: Intoxicated individuals are not permitted to throw axes.

Falling Axes: Never try to catch a falling axe. Retrieve it only after it has stopped moving.

Neutral Zone: Place axes in the designated holder after use. Do not hand axes to others; put them in the neutral zone.

Spectator Safety: Non-throwing customers must stay behind the designated safety lines.

Participant Responsibilities: Participants are expected to follow all safety guidelines, use equipment properly, and act responsibly to ensure their own safety and the safety of others.

Consequences of Non-Compliance: Failure to follow the safety rules may result in immediate removal from the activity to ensure the safety of all guests.

Emergency Procedures: In case of an accident or emergency, follow the posted instructions and immediately notify a staff member for assistance.

Responsibilities: We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur due to non-compliance with the safety rules.”
